The HitTrax™ has several functions to help train your players. It can accurately analyze the exit velocity of a baseball hit by your player, the launch angle of said baseball, and where the baseball traveled to. It can also analyze exactly where a pitch is thrown and at what speed, and has functions to help train your catcher's release time and accuracy in throwing. The HitTrax™ also has a gaming module in which teams can compete, as well as online ranking and tournaments. The Mansfield Knight's HitTrax™ is hosted at The Batter's Cave, which is located at 7803 S Cooper St, Arlington, TX, 76001.
There are three ways that you can rent the HitTrax™.
Option 1: Individual Tunnel and HitTrax rental option.
Request a HitTrax player login be created for your player. Without a player login, the HitTrax will not work for individual rentals. Text Daniel at 214-681-4213 for the creation a login for each player.
Rent the HitTrax machine by texting your reservation request to 214-681-4213. Rental is $25 for 30 minutes, $40 for an hour, $75 for 2 hours. Once the rental reservation is secured make payment via my Paypal.
Get the key to the HitTrax cage from the front desk.
Get the four-digit pin by texting 214-681-4213 to login to the HitTrax computer.
Unlock the cage, turn on the black power strip and turn on the computer. Login with the four-digit pin.
Allow the computer to completely boot and wait for the HitTrax play screen to appear.
Login to your player profile. You must have a player profile to use HitTrax.
Turn on each TV (one in the caged area and one above the front gate of the Beltre tunnel with the remotes that are attached to the back of the TV in the HitTrax cage).
Begin the hitting session.
When finished, shutdown the computer from the windows menu on the computer, turn off each TV, and turn off the black power strip in the HitTrax cage. Lock the cage and return the key to the front desk.
Option 2: Lessons.
Coach Sweet will host a limited number of hitting lessons throughout the month. The price of the lessons is $35 for 30 minutes, and $60 for an hour. These times and prices can be shared by up to 3 players. In other words, for an hour the lesson divided among three players, the lesson would be $20 per player and would include a HitTrax analysis of that hitting session. Coach Sweet has been coaching select, league, and scholastic teams for the past decade involving ages 7 to 17. There is a science to hitting a baseball and HitTrax provides an additional tool to analyzing the science of the swing.
Option 3: Prime Cavemen Season Membership.
If you are a Prime Cavemen player, we have a special offer for you. It is a first come, first serve basis to the first 40 players to sign up. It is $60 cash, payable at the time of sign up, per player, per six-month season. The two seasons are August 1 to January 31 for the fall/winter season and February 1 to July 31 for the spring/summer season.
